In our work with principal's and Board we are at times asked about reviewing their school's support staff and finance/admin staff structures. A Board, or more often the principal, may have a 'feeling' that they could do things differently and better to ensure that support and admin staff and resources are more focused around the school's aims to lift student achievement and student wellbeing.
Quite often we find that although many aspects of a school's organisation and teaching practice has changed as various educational reforms, initiatives and demands have required us to change, that the structures of a school's administration has not kept pace. A number of principals are now giving attention as to how they can ensure that all areas of their school including school administration, reflect a prudent use of public resources that are properly directed to lifting student achievement and enhancing student wellbeing.
If there are areas in your school that are bugging you, have been in the 'too hard basket' for too long or you don't quite know where to start; we are happy to have a confidential chat about how we can help.
We can work with you to develop a clear Terms of Reference that properly outlines a robust review process in any area of your school that could benefit from an independent review and potential reform. Call Kevin 0274-705-100 or Maria 0275-435-942.
