Rural principalships are well sought after and Rongotea was certainly no different! KPEC had the great pleasure of working with the Board of Trustees to recruit and appoint their new principal. Our campaign attracted many applicants and the calibre was extremely high. This made the job of shortlisting for the Board a tough one.
At the end of a rigorous process, the Board of Trustees was very pleased to appoint Troy Anderson who comes on promotion to Rongotea School as U2 principal from his U1 principal position at Pirinoa School in the Wairarapa. KPEC congratulates both Troy and the Board on their successful appointment. We know that Troy will bring his love of family and community to Rongotea along with many positive leadership qualities. We wish you all the best for 2017.
